in regards to the podcast on July 31st, it reminded me of the scriptures in Matthew 25, the parable of the talents. I hadn't considered it to be literal as well as metaphorical.
Mary, hearing your voice is like a time machine. I go back to when we first met in Modesto, California. I remember you, of course, and your dear family. I am thrilled to reconnect. And the lesson that you speak of to allow others to give, to learn, to receive is vitally important. I have been guilty of saying, no, thank you. I'm okay. And now I realize that by accepting the help offered, I am sharing the blessing of friendship and allowing others to grow by giving.
